Nor had I. It’s a bit of an optical illusion as the arrow-like line of geese is a separate flock flying higher than the bow-shaped flock.

Well, it’s an awesome shot! I have seen these geese migrating when I visited my son in Nebraska. I didn’t brave the cold to go out and photograph them, though. 😎
